These bed-ridden Grannies cried when our guys put them on the floor of the bus after covering it with mattresses and blankets. They cried, waved at us, and blessed us by making the sign of the cross with their weak and feeble arms.
These grannies and other people who cannot walk by themselves, or walk using a walker or a wheelchair, were relocated by us with love to the Ivano-Frankivsk region, where one of the communities welcomed 13 Ukrainians to their nursing home. We saved them all from hot spots where Ukrainian land is burning and where these people would be doomed.
They cried as they said goodbye to us. And we cried, too.
