The idea of carving pictures in the rocks is not new, it is thousands of years old. But it took me 42 years of my life and three weeks of the war to discover the magical world of imperfect clay carvings.

The inspiration for my creativity was: the presence of a trench, clay, a sharp stick and a fierce hatred of enemies.

The first works were quite rough, the stick was constantly breaking, so I, guided by technical progress and the benefits of wartime, glued a long nail to the casing from a 7.62 bullet and made a stack, which made it easier to finish details.

The trench collection is based on ancient Slavic and Scandinavian talismans, zoomorphic symbols, and fantastic animals.

The show takes place right on the parapet of the trench, entrance is free, the exhibition lasts until the first rain or until the Victory, which, I hope, will come sooner than the rain! Glory to Ukraine! We won’t give up!
