Today at about seven in the morning, a Russian bomber attacked a strategic building in Krasnohorivka, Mariyinka County, Donetsk Oblast: my late grandmother’s house.
The ensuing fire was so intense that it affected neighboring homes and even jumped to the next street.
My parents have an excellent sense of humor. Mama immediately remarked how great it was that we hadn’t renovated the interior, after all. And Tato, looking at a fresh picture of the ruin, boasted about the quality job he had done with the chimney. It was the only thing left standing.
